IngredientsDAL PALAK 1
1. Masoor Dal / Toor dal (Sambar paripu)- 1 cup
2. Palak – 2 bunch Cleaned and chopped
3. Garlic – 3 cloves
4. Green Chilli- 2 Nos
5. Thick Coconut Milk – ½ cup
6. Zeera Powder- ¾ tsp
7. Salt to taste
8. Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
9. Coconut Oil – 1 tsp
Preparation
1. Wash the dal and add it to the cooker along with 2 cup water, green chilli, garlic and turmeric powder. Cook it for 1 whistle.

2. After the dal get cooked add the chopped palak, salt, zeera. Cook for 4-5 minutes till palak get cooked. Off the stove and add coconut milk and 1 tsp of coconut oil . Serve it hot with rice or with chapatti.
