- Koorka (chinese potato) – 300 gms
- Green chilly – 3 -4 nos
- Shallots – 5 -6
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Salt – as required
- Water – 11/2 cup
- Oil – 5-6 Tbs
- Clean Koorka (peel it and wash nicely) and cut into small pieces and put it in the cooking vessel. Add water, salt and green chilly. Cook well. Make sure water is completely dried.
- Place a big frying pan and keep it on high flame. Pour the oil, add curry leaves sliced shallots and cooked koorka. Stir well and keep it on slow fire for 20 – 30 minutes or till it become light brown colour. Make sure to stir in between, otherwise it will burn.
