Vermicelli cutlets

  • Vermicelli 1 packet (medium)
  • Potato 3 Nos.
  • Onion 3 Nos.
  • Green chilli 6 Nos.
  • Ginger 1 inch long
  • Curry leaves 1 sprig
  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Red chilli powder 1 spoon
  • Turmeric powder ½ spoon
  • Hing ¼ spoon
  • Salt             As required
  • Butter 1 cube
  • Egg white 3 Nos.
  • Bread crumps As required
  • Oil for Frying


Take a pan add butter. When butter starts melting add vermicelli and fry for 5-7 minutes. Remove from pan.

Potato boil and mash nicely. Add the fried vermicelli to potato mash and add all other ingredients. Make a dough to make it required shape. Press nicely.

Take a plate add breadcrumbs and a small cup vermicelli to it. Mix together nicely.

Take each shaped cutlets dip in egg white and dip in breadcrumbs/ vermicelli mix.

Deep Fry in hot oil till golden brown
