Baked Flan

  1. 1 cup white sugar
  2. 2 cups Fresh cream
  3. 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  4. 1 cup milk
  5. 5 eggs
  6. 1 teaspoons vanilla extract

 Preparation: 

  1. When the nonstick saucepan gets warm, spread  the sugar and leave it over medium heat. Shake and swirl occasionally to distribute sugar until it is dissolved and begins to brown. Continue to brown the sugar until it becomes a dark golden brown.

 

  1. Pour caramelized sugar into the baking pan, and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan evenly.

 

  1. In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, cream, milk, eggs and vanilla. Blend well and pour over the caramelized sugar.

 

  1. Steam the pan with contents for 20-30 minutes. (This can be baked as well).

 

  1. Once it is cooked well, leave it to cool.  Once cooled keep it upside down and serve chilled.
