Fish curry with a mustard flavor

Fish of your choice                  6 Pieces

To marinate fish

  1. Turmeric powder ½ spoon
  2. Chilli powder ½ spoon
  3. Lemon 1 spoon
  4. Salt As required
  5. Black pepper powder ½ spoon

Onion                                      1 No.

Green chilli                              1 No.

Ginger                                     1 inch long

Garlic                                       2 cloves

Tomatoes                                2 Nos.

Mustard oil                              1 spoon

Oil of your choice to fry fish


Clean and cut the fish medium size. Marinate with 1 to 5 items. And shallow fry them and keep aside.

Take a pan and add onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic and sauté for some time. When onions start changing the colour add tomatoes and salt. When oil start separating, add the fried fish and add 1 glass water. And cook for 10 min. in low flame.

Add some mustard oil at this time and decorate with coriander leaves.
