Banana fritters

  1. Banana (Chiquita)  – 2 Nos
  2. All purpose flour (maida)              –  ½ Cup
  3. Rice powder                 – ¼ Cup
  4. Egg – 1 Nos
  5. Grated coconut                – ¼ Cup
  6. Grated Jaggery                -3 tea spoon
  7. Dates (cut into small pieces) -3 Nos
  8. Cardamom powder                     -2 pinch
  9. Baking powder                – 1 pinch


  • In a bowl mash bananas
  • Blend in all the items from 2-7 to the mashed bananas. Add water as required. Make sure that the batter is thick.
  • Heat oil in a skillet.
  • Drop spoon full of batter in to the hot oil
  • Fry until golden brown
