Potato Bonda

  1. Potato 2 Nos.
  2. Onion 2 Nos.
  3. Ginger 1 inch long
  4. Garlic 3 cloves
  5. Green chilli 4 Nos.
  6. Turmeric powder ½ spoon
  7. Bread 10 slices
  8. Salt As required
  9. Mustard seeds 1 spoon
  10. Oil To fry
  11. Coriander leaves chopped 1 table spoon
  12. Curry leaves chopped 1 table spoon



Boil potatoes and mash nicely.

Make oil hot, add onions, ginger, garlic, green chilli, coriander leaves, curry leaves and sauté nicely . Do not make it brown. Add salt and turmeric powder and sauté for 5 minutes. Add potato. Do not add water, if you feel very thick just sprinkle some water.


Soak bread in water. Take out from water and squeeze out the water by pressing In between our palms. Fill the masala to it and close it nicely and deep fry
