  1. Sweet Potato 2 Nos. Big one
  2. Oats 2 spoons
  3. Corn flour 2 spoons
  4. Basin 2 spoons
  5. Maida 2 spoons
  6. Breadcrumbs 4 spoons
  7. Chilli powder 1 spoon
  8. Turmeric powder ½ spoon
  9. Sambar powder 1 spoon
  10. Ginger powder ½ spoon
  11. Hing ½ spoon
  12. Green chilli 8 nos.
  13. Onions 2 Nos.
  14. Ginger 1 inch piece long chopped
  15. Coriander copped 2 table spoons
  16. Curry leaves copped 2 table spoons
  17. Salt As required
  18. Oil to Fry


Boil sweet potatoes and mash nicely with maida, corn flour, oats, basin add salt chilli powder/ turmeric/ ginger/ sambar powder etc. Mash nicely.

Take a pan add oil and sauté onions, green chilli, ginger, coriander and curry leaves. When onion start changing the colour add the mash sweet potatoe and add breadcrumbs, so that we will get the correct consistency to make Vada.

Just roll on bread crumps the shaped vada and deep fry.
