  1. Fresh Prawns-30 nos
  2. Onions-2 nos (finely chopped)
  3. Tomato chopped -2 Nos
  4. Curry leaves-2 sprig
  5. Red chili powder-1 tsp
  6. Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
  7. Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
  8. Chicken masala powder-2 tsp
  9. Turmeric Powder -1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander Leaves chopped -2 table spoon
  11. Lemon juice-1tsp

For grinding:-

  1. Ginger-small pieces
  2. Garlic cloves-4 to 5 nos
  3. Fennel seeds-3 tsp
  4. Grated coconut-2 tbsp
  5. Green chillies-3 to 4 nos

Preparation

  • Devein and clean  the Prawns and marinate with  chilli  powder, turmeric powder and salt mix well keep it aside for ½ hrs.
  • Grind the coconut, green chilli, fennel seeds, ginger and garlic into a smooth paste
  • Heat oil in a pan, sauté the onion until it is golden colour. Add curry leaves and chopped tomato. When the tomato become soft and mushy add ground paste, sauté it well till the oil starts leaving the masala.
  • Add chili powder, pepper powder, chicken masala and garam masala and sauté it till raw smell leaves the masala.
  • Add the marinated prawns and mix well. Cover it and cook for few minutes. Lastly add the lemon juice and decorate with chopped coriander leaves and few curry leaves. Turn Off the Gas stove and serve it with rice or chapatti.
