Chena (YAM) Baked pudding:

  1. Yam 1 cup- cooked
  2. Butter -1 -2 table spoon
  3. Cinnamon powder -1 pinch
  4. Egg 1
  5. Cream ½ cup
  6. Vanilla Essence
  7. corn Flour-1/2 tsp
  8. Wheat flour-1/4 cup
  9. Baking powder-1/2 tsp
  10. Milk-1/2 cup

 Preparation

 Cook Chena 1 cup sliced into medium pieces in 1 table spoon butter in a pressure cooker, in low flame. Once the cheena turns the colour to light golden brown put it into a blow and keep aside

  • Once it gets cooled using a hand mixer beat well . 
  • Take another bowl beat 1 egg, ½ cup cream, ½ cup milk, sugar, cinnamon powder, vanilla essence, baking powder, corn flour and wheat flour.
  • Add the yam mixture to it
  • Bake it at 180 deg for 10 minutes.
  • Chena pudding ready! 
  • Can be served hot or chilled
