Vegetable Manchurian

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. Cornflour 2 teaspoon
  3. Carrots grated 1 cup
  4. Cabbage grated 1 cup
  5. Capsicum chopped 1 cup
  6. Green chilli 2 Nos.
  7. Pepper powder 1 spoon
  8. Cooking oil As required

For Sauce:

  1. Crushed ginger 2 spoons
  2. Green chilli             2 Nos.
  3. Garlic chopped 1 spoon
  4. Spring onion 1 spoon
  5. Cooking oil 1 spoon
  6. Soy sauce 2 table spoon
  7. Chilly sauce ½ table spoon
  8. Tomato ketch up 2 spoons
  9. Pepper powder 1 table spoon
  10. Cornflour 2 table spoon
  11. Hot water 2 cups
  12. Salt As required


Take a vessel and mix all ingredients to make small balls out of mixture. Do not add water. Deep fry.

Take a pan, add some oil and add crushed ginger, chilli, garlic, spring onion. Saute for 5 minutes and add soy sauce, chilli sauce and ketchup, add pepper powder and add corn flour diluted in 1 cup water. When it start boiling add hot water and salt..

When the mixture gets proper consistency add the fried balls.

Tasty Manchurian is ready to have with fried rice/ or noodles.
