To uploadIngredients:
1. Chicken – 1 kg
2. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
3. Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
4. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
5. Cumin seeds -1 tsp
6. Coriander seeds – 2 tsp
7. Pepper corns – ½ tsp
8. Dry ginger -1 small piece
9. Dry Fenugreek leaves – 3 tsp (Kasuri methi)
10. Dry Red chilly – 3 nos
11. Ginger -garlic paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
12. Onion slices – 4 Nos
13. Green chilly – 2 (optional)
14. Capsicum-Red/Green – 5 to 10 pieces each (Optional)
15. Sliced tomato – 4 Nos
16. Curd – 3/4 cup( mix well)
17. Oil / ghee – 5 tbsp
18. Salt to taste
19. Coriander leaves
20. Butter – 2 table spoon ( Optional)
21. Ginger julienne – 1 table spoon

Preparation:
1. Wash and cut chicken to small pieces.
2. Marinate the chicken pieces with ½ turmeric powder, ½ red chilly powder, ½ garam masala powder, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and keep it for 2 hrs.
3 Take a dry pan, add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, pepper corns, red chilly and dry ginger piece and.
Roast for a minute.
4. On cooling grind it to coarse powder.
5. Heat 3 table spoon oil shallow fry the chicken pieces till the outer pieces are golden colour. Remove it when done.
6. In the same oil add onion slices and fry till light brown. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute it till raw smell leaves.
7. Add the coarsely ground powder, turmeric powder, chili powder and salt .
8. Add tomatoes and saute well. Add 5 table spoon of water and cover it till tomatoes are cooked and oil start leaving the pan.
8. Add the chicken pieces and saute it till cooked masala cover it well.
9. Now add the curd and mix well. Cover and cook in low flame for about 15 minutes. Lastly chili , capsicum and keep for another few seconds. Stir once again nicely
10. Lastly add the coriander leaves, ginger julienne, little garm masala powder and butter (optional) and switch off the stove
11. Lip-smacking Kadai Chicken is ready. You can serve hot with tandoori roti, naan, paratha or with rice dishes.
