Tuna Pasta

  1. Pasta- 2 cups
  2. Tuna – 1 tin
  3. Onion – 2 Nos chopped
  4. Garlic -1 table spoon
  5. Ginger chopped-1 tsp
  6. Tomato- 1 No chopped
  7. Capsicum-1 No cut to medium shape pieces
  8. Green Chili- 1 No
  9. Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  10. Crushed red chili- ½ tsp (can increase if needed)
  11. Pepper powder- ½ tsp
  12. Lemon juice 1-2 tsp
  13. Tomato ketchup – 1 table spoon
  14. Oregano -1/2 tsp (Optional)
  15. Coriander leaves- 1 tsp
  16. Olive oil – 2 table spoon
  17. Morzella cheese- 2 table spoon (optional)




  1. Heat the oil add the chopped garlic and fry till it is golden brown, add the onion, green chili and ginger and saute it till the onion become soft.


  1. Reduce the flame of the stove and add the turmeric powder, chili crushed and pepper powder mix well.


  1. Add the drained tuna and saute it for few minutes on a low flame.


  1. Add chopped tomato and few spoons of water and cover it for few minutes till it is soft and mushy. Add lemon juice and mix well.


  1. Add the capsicum, tomato ketchup and mix well.


  1. Add the cooked pasta and oregano and saute it for few minutes till the masala coats the pasta.


  1. Lastly add the cheese and coriander leaves, switch off the stove and serve it hot.


We can also add corn, mushrooms or broccoli to it.
