Ingredients

  1. Broken Wheat 1 cup
  2. Jaggery 5 Nos. medium pieces
  3. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  4. Ghee 2 cups
  5. Cashews 10

 

Preparation

  • Soak the broken wheat in water for 3 -4 hours
  • Drain the water after grind it in mixer by adding 1 cup of water
  • Squeeze and strain the milk through the sieve
  • Again add 1 cup water and grind the wheat husk in mixer and get the remaining milk
  • Strain the milk in a sieve to extract all milk. Keep It aside for at least 2 hours. The thick milk will settle in the bottom
  • Add 1 spoon ghee and fry the cashews and keep aside
  • Take the strained wheat milk in a pan add cardamom and jaggery syrup and stir well
  • Keep stirring until thicken, add ghee in regular intervals until the mixture is glossy and transparent
  • Cut in desired shape
