  1. Besan (Bengal Gram Flour)-1 Cup
  2. Ghee -2 Cup (can reduce to 1.5 cup)
  3. Dessicated Coconut- 1 Cup
  4. Sugar – 3 Cups
  5. Milk -1 Cup
  6. Cardamom – ½ Tsp


  • Dry roast the Basan till a nice aroma come.
  • Mix besan flour, ghee, coconut powder, sugar, milk to remove any lumps from the  batter .
  • Heat a nonstick pan and pour everything . You can also use a heavy kadai.
  • Put in low flame for 20 minutes approximately.
  • Keep stirring so that it does not get burnt, till the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel and bubbles appear.
  • Grease a plate or a rectangle cake mold and pour the mixture into it.
  • When it cools down using a knife or a pizza cutter cut in the shape you like.
