Spicy chicken in Sweet Sauce

  1. Boneless chicken – 15-20 pieces

For margination:

  • Ginger garlic paste -1 table spoon
  • Green chili-1 No
  • Shallots- t table spoon
  • Pepper ¼ tsp
  • Curd – table spoon
  • Corn flour-1/4 table spoon
  • Salt
  1. Garlic – chopped 1 Tsp
  2. Ginger chopped 1 tsp
  3. Onion chopped – ½ cup
  4. Green chili chopped 2 Nos
  5. Pepper powder-1/4 tsp
  6. Spring onion chopped- 2 table spoon
  7. Carrot chopped 2 table spoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Soya sauce- Dark 2 tsp
  10. Sweet butter sauce- 4 teaspoon




  1. Marinate the chicken with the items I to VII and shallow fry in little oil and keep it aside.
  2. Saute ginger, garlic with onion and carrot. When raw smell leaves add crushed pepper and green chili.
  3. When the colour changes to light brown add the chicken add the soya sauce and sweet butter sauce. Add ¼ cup water and close with a lid so that the chicken cooks with sauces.
  4. After the sauce reduces, remove from the stove and decorate with coriander leaves and spring onions. Serve with bread or fried rice.
