  1. Raw rice – 1 cup
  2. Grated coconut – ½ cup
  3. Oil for applying


  1. Wash & soak rice for 2 hrs.
  2. Grind with coconut to a very fine, thin paste, adding salt carefully.
  3. Including the water used for grinding, add minimum 2 – 2 ½ cups water.
  4. In a big non-stick tava, smear 2, 3 drops of oil, pour thin dosas cover & cook.
  5. Do not turn over, fold into 4 & serve.
  6. Serve with any chutney or a chicken curry.
