Cucumber Yogurt salad- (Salatit laban wa kh’yar)

  1. Cucumber- 2 Nos
  2. Salt- ½ tsp
  3. Thick yogurt – 2 cup
  4. Mint leaves a bunch- chopped ( even dry mint powder is excellent)
  5. Garlic -2 Nos crushed and minced


  1. Beat the curd with a whisker. Add the minced garlic, chopped mint leaves and keep it aside
  2. Peel the outer skin of the cucumber and chop it to small pieces. Apply little salt and put on a drainer so that all water is properly drained.
  3. Add it to the Yogurt and adjust the salt according to taste. Decorate with mint leaves.
