Squid fry


  1. Squid – cleaned and cut in your desired shape.. Here I cut long

To Marinate:

  • Red chilli powder 1 spoon
  • Turmeric ½ spoon
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Coriander ½ cup chopped
  • Curry leaves ½ cup chopped
  • Ginger 4 cloves chopped
  • Egg 1
  • Corn flour 2 spoons
  • Salt To taste

For dusting:

  • 3 spoons Maida
  • 3 spoons corn Flour
  • 3 spoons Rice flour
  • ½ spoon   red chilli powder
  • Salt a pinch


Prepare the marination by combining all ingredients together and add the cleaned squid and keep in fridge overnight.

Combine all flours mentioned under “for Dusting” and dip the marinated squid in this mixture. The moisture in the squid will make a thick coating. And deep fry in hot oil.

Have this tasty crunchy squid with your desired sauce.
