Tuna  Cutlets

Ingredients

  1. Tuna – 1 tin
  2. Onion – 1 big (chopped)
  3. Ginger – 1 tablespoon (Chopped)
  4. Green chilli – 4 (Sliced)
  5. Potato – 1 boiled & mashed
  6. Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  7. Cumin Powder -1/2 tsp
  8. Lemon juice -1 tsp
  9. Garam Masala – 1 teaspoon
  10. Bread crumbs – 1 cup
  11. Egg white -2
  12. Curry leaves (Chopped)
  13. Coriander leaves ( Chopped)
  14. Salt – As required
  15. Oil – for frying

Preparation

  • Wash the tuna well.
  • Saute onion till it becomes soft.
  • Add ginger, green chillies and curry leaves. Add tuna. Mix well. Add salt, Kashmiri chilly powder & garam masala, cumin powder and lemon juice.
  • Add mashed potatoes & coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Make the mixture to desired shapes.
  • Beat the egg white. Dip each cutlet in egg white & roll with bread crumbs. Deep fry in oil.

Serve hot with Garlic chilli sauce or  tomato sauce.
