Fish Crispy

  1. Fish fillet cut into bite size                                  1 kg
  2. Rice Flour                                                            1 ½ cups
  3. Corn Flour                                                           ½ cup
  4. Turmeric powder                                                 1 spoon
  5. Chilli powder                                                       1 spoon
  6. Vinegar                                                                ½ spoon                                             
  7. Yoghurt                                                                1 cup
  8. Onion                                                                   2 Nos. chopped
  9. Ginger                                                                  1 inch long chopped
  10. Curry Leaves                                                       Chopped
  11. Green chilli                                                          6 Nos. chopped
  12. Salt to taste


Sieve the flour, bicarbonate of soda and turmeric powder and red chilli powder together and add salt. Mix vinegar, yoghurt and chopped onion, ginger , green chillies and curry leaves and make it into a thick batter and beat well. If the batter is too thick add 2 spoon of water. Bring the batter to dropping consistency. Mix thoroughly and keep the fish pieces in the batter and keep in refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours. and deep fry in very hot oil. After 5 minutes reduce the flame. Remove from fire when it turns golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot with sauce or chutney

Here we use fish instead of chicken and made it spicy for adults
