Beetroot has been gaining in popularity as a new super food due to recent studies claiming that beetroot juice can improve athletic performance, lower blood pressure and increase blood flow.

Ingredients:

1. Beetroot chopped 1 cup
2. Cinnamon 1 piece
3. Ginger 1 small piece
4. Lemon juice of 1 lemon
5. Sugar 3 table spoon
6. Water 4 glasses
7. Ice crushed

Preparation:

Heat water along with beetroots sugar cinnamon and ginger. Let the beetroot get blanched. Cool it and grind it in a blender add water if necessary. Sieve it and add ice and lemon juice and serve chilled. If u like to use raw beetroot can avoid blanching.
