For Momos

  1. All Purpose flour – 1 cup
  2. Water- enough to make the dough
  3. Oil-1 tsp
  4. Salt- a pinch


  1. Paneer- 5 cubes
  2. Mixed Vegetable :- 5 table spoon (chop it using hand blender)
  3. Onion -1 No
  4. Spring Onions chopped – 3 table spoon
  5. Green Chili/ Red chili flakes- -1 No chopped
  6. Ginger chopped-1/2 tsp
  7. Garlic chopped 1 tsp
  8. Soya Sauce- 1 table spoon
  9. Oil – 2 tsp

Spicy Dip

  1. Tomato Blanched and skinned-1 No
  2. Red Chili- 2 -3 nos ( according to your spiciness)
  3. Soya Sauce- 1 table spoon
  4. Vinegar- ½ tsp
  5. Sugar- ½ tsp
  6. Garlic chopped 1 tsp


  •  Prepare dough using the all purpose flour, oil salt and adding required amount of water. Make it into soft dough and cover with a wet towel and keep aside.
  • For filing: Heat little oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and ginger, when raw smell leaves add the chopped onions and hard part of spring onions.
  • Add the chopped vegetables, chili flakes and crumbled paneer cubes and mix well.
  • Add soya sauce and salt according to taste. (Soya is salty so check and add salt)
  • Let the vegetable cook and let moisture reduce.
  • Add the chopped spring onions and pepper and mix well.
  • Remove from stove and cool it.
  • Make thin poori of 3 inches, the edges should not be thick put the fillings and fold it according to your choice.
  • Put in a steamer and steam it for 10 minutes.
  • Four sauce: Heat a pan a add little oil, add the chopped garlic and fry till it is golden brown. Add the chili and let it roast. Off the stove add this mixture to the blender, add the blanched tomato, soya sauce, sugar, vinegar and blend it well. For extra taste add  sweet and sour chili sauce.
  • Serve hot vegetable momos with spicy sauce.
