Chicken gold coin

  1. Chicken mince ½ kg.
  2. 1 ginger(finely chopped).
  3. 2 spring onion greens(chopped).
  4. 3 green chillies(chopped).
  5. 2 eggs.
  6. 1 tbsp cornflour.
  7. 1 tbsp soy sauce.
  8. 1/2 tbsp white pepper powder.
  9. 10 slices white bread.
  10. Seasame seeds
  11. salt to taste.
  12. oil to deep fry.



  1. In a bowl mix the chicken mince with ginger,spring onion greens,green chillies,one egg,cornflour,soy sauce,white pepper powder and salt.
  2. Mix thouroughly and marinate for 1 hour.
  3. Break the remaining egg into a bowl and whisk lightly.
  4. Cut the bread slices into circle shape.
  5. Brush the bread slices with the whisked egg and apply a thick mixture of chicken on it.
  6. Roll over white sesame seeds
  7. Refrigerate it for 15 minutes.
  8. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the gold coins till it becomes crispy and golden brown in colour.
  9. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve with your favourite sauce.
