 (An easy sweet dish with jack fruit to be served as a hot hit desserts.)


  1. Jackfruit (riped) – sliced into small pieces – 1 cup
  2. Ghee 2 table spoons
  3. Jaggery 2 pieces (if big/ or else 4 pieces)
  4. Water ¼ cup
  5. Grated coconut ½ cup
  6. Almond flakes 2 table spoons
  7. Black jeera ¼ spoon (nigella seeds/ kalonji seeds)


  •  Cut jackfruit to small pieces and saute this in 2 table spoon ghee in low flame and covered
  • After 20 minutes, add 1/4 cup of water and again cook for 15 mints
  • Add jaggery  with 1/4 cup of water (depends on your sweet quench) and 1/2 cup grated coconut fresh, mix well and cook again in low flame
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Garnish with Almond flakes and karuthajeerakam

This can be served alone or along with a scoop of ice cream as well!
