Egg Puffs

  1. Hard Boiled Eggs -4 Nos
  2. Onion-3 Nos
  3. Ginger crushed-1/2 tea spoon
  4. Garlic crushed -1/2 tea spoon
  5. Green chilly
  6. Turmeric-1/4 tea spoon
  7. Chilly powder-1 tea spoon
  8. Coriander powder-1 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala-1/2 teaspoon
  10. Curry leaves
  11. Coconut oil
  12. Puff pastry sheet – 8 Nos


  1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C,10 min before baking
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, when it is hot add the onions and sauté it till it is light pink colour. Add the ginger garlic paste, green chili and sauté it till the raw smell goes
  3. Add the turmeric power, pepper power, chili powder, coriander powder and mix well for 2 minutes.
  4. Lastly add garam masala and curry leaves.
  5. Now add the boiled egg cut into halves.
  6. Line the baking tray with baking sheet/foil paper
  7. Thaw puff pastry as per the instructions
  8. Place about 1 tbsp of masala on each puff pastry, followed by half a slice of egg. Put some masala on top of the egg as well.
  9. Bring together the diagonally opposite sides and seal.
  10. Apply butter on all four sides of the pastry.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 mins or until the puff pastry is golden in colour.
