Ingredients: Kaju-Pakkodas_2

  • 1. Gram Flour (Basen Powder/Kadala Podi) – 1cup
  • 2. Rice powder – 2 table spoon
  • 3. Cashew nuts (halved) – 1 cup
  • 4. Onion medium sized, finely chopped – 1 No
  • 5. Green Chili – Finely chopped – 2 Nos
  • 6. Ginger minced – 1 tbsp
  • 7. Ajwine (Carom Seeds/Omam) – 1/4 tsp
  • 8. Chili powder – ½ tsp
  • 9. Chat Masala – 1 Pinch
  • 10. Pinch of Jeera powder
  • 11. Hing Powder (Kayam) – 2 Pinch
  • 12. Salt to taste
  • 13. Coriander leaves, chopped finely. – 2-3 table spoon
  • 14. Water – 1/2 cup
  • 15. Oil for deep frying

Preparation:

    • 1. Take the mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients from 1-14 to make a medium consistency batter to coat the cashew nut.
    • 2. Heat the oil and pour a spoonful mixture in small batches to oil.
    • 3. Drain it on a kitchen towel, serve it with pepper and garlic crushed mixture.

Pepper and Garlic Crush:

  • 4. This is an awesome combination with pakodas.
  • 5. Take a 5-6 cloves of garlic with the cover, add ½ tsp of pepper powder and little salt and crush it well.
