Spicy Chicken – Indi – Chini

IngredientsSpicy-Chicken

    • Chicken boneless – 400 gms – cubed (small size)
    • Tomato – 1 big – blanched and deseeded
    • Garlic – 4 – 5 flakes –chopped
    • Ginger – 1 piece chopped
    • Onion – 2 medium size – cubed
    • Red bell pepper – ¼ portion
    • Yellow Bell Pepper – ¼ portion
    • Green Bell Pepper – ¼ portion
    • Spring onion – 1 stem
    • Coriander leaves – 1 tbs – finely chopped
    • Chili paste – 1 Tbs
    • Chili flakes – 1 tsp
    • Soya Sauce – 2 – 3Tbs
    • Thai Chili sauce – 2 Tbs
    • Pepper powder – ½ tsp
    • Corn floor – 1 tbs – dissolved in half glass water
    • Oil – as desired
    • To make Chili paste:

Take 10 -15 dry red chilies, deseed and soak in 2 TBS vinegar for 1 hour and make a paste.

Preparation:

  • Heat a non stick pan and pour 2 Tbs oil. Then add chopped ginger, garlic and fry it.
  • Once the fried smell comes add the blanched tomato. Fry it till the oil separates.
  • Add the red chili paste and stir well.
  • Add chicken and close the lid for few minutes.
  • Next add the sauces and mix it well and put the cubed peppers, spring onion and cook in slow flame for about 8 -10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the chili flakes, pepper powder and the corn floor. Stir well till it is thick consistence and dry.
  • Add the coriander leaves and salt if required.
